Dr. Timothy J. Tobin, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S. * / ** / ***

Salem, MA native Dr. Tobin is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester and has practiced on the North Shore over 25 years. Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Tobin is an avid trail runner with a special interest in treating sports-related foot injuries. He and his wife enjoy hiking, art, music sailing and travel.

Dr. Lawrence E. McGinness, D.P.M. **

Beverly native Dr. McGinness is a graduate of Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. A second-generation practitioner, he has over 35 years of experience treating patients of all ages and is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery. An avid guitar player and certified scuba diver, Dr. McGinness enjoys travel, music, and time at the ocean with his young grandchildren.

Dr. Rebecca R. Calder, D.P.M. ** / *** / ****

Peabody native Dr. Calder graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her residency at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, serving as chief resident her final year. Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Calder has had extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, diabetic wound care, and limb salvage. She holds certificates in arthroscopy, along with internal and advanced fixation. She serves on the Mass Foot and Ankle Society Board of Trustees and believes preventative measures are important to foot and ankle biomechanics. Dr. Calder enjoys music, spending time outdoors and time with her husband and baby daughter.




Dr. Matthew A. Peter, D.P.M. ***

Dr. Peter is pleased to join Beverly Podiatry after his recent residency in Boston at Cambridge Health Alliance, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. A Connecticut native and graduate of Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Peter’s expertise spans all aspects of foot and ankle medicine, and patients of all ages. He has a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery techniques, arthroscopy (scopes), and correcting bunions and hammertoes as well as other foot problems. Dr. Peter enjoys travel, skiing, volleyball, and exploring and hiking around Massachusetts and the North Shore with his wife
